Born and raised in the historic city of Fribourg - Switzerland. His formative years were influenced by biculturalism, deeply rooted from his paternal French-speaking Gruyère (Switzerland) family, as well as by the maternal side Spanish-speaking from Barcelona - Spain).
The advantage of this dual cultural heritage allowed him to be exposed to different lifestyles, always maintaining an 'open mind' in order to carefully examine the merits of diverse 'points of view,' to integrate those in a global vision.

He attended public and private schools in Fribourg. During his studies at the 'Villa Saint-Jean' international school he perfected his English -speaking skills. Edouard studied alongside students from the U.S., Europe and the Middle East, all pursuing the equivalent of U.S. Middle-High school diplomas. General Sciences was his preferred course, along with a penchant for World History. "Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it (Georges Santayana)."

Although a typical teenager attending secondary school, his intellectual development was heavily influenced by industrial manufacturing and business management from Spain.
Edouard spent seasonal holidays in Barcelona and Mallorca, locations where his maternal Heusch family had an important metallurgical industry (Industrias Heusch Reunidas S.A. / La Metalúrgica Española) and man-made pearl factories (Perlas Majorica S.A. - Manacor / Balearic Islands). It was an ideal environment where he could observe, learn the importance of efficient international management, quality controls, manufacturing on a large scale, together with an ever-present emphasis on 'customer satisfaction.'

At an early age, he developed a passion for snow skiing and hiking in the Swiss Alps and U.S. Rocky Mountains.
He studied at the University of Texas, graduating with a Bachelor of Science (BSc.) in Biology/Chemistry. Two years later, he received an M.T. graduate diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology from the University of Texas Health Science Center (UTHSC).
This rigorous academic curriculum galvanized his concentration on exacting attention to quality controls in medical analytical laboratories, as well as the very high standards required in pharmaceuticals.

After working in medical technology in Texas, he seized the opportunity to be employed as a Project Manager for L.B.S., an international import/export company based in Texas, with warehouse operations (supply chain/logistics) located in Houston (Texas).
Leading major L.B.S. projects during years, he acquired considerable expertise in international business collaborating with stakeholders/ customers located in North America (United States of America, Canada, Mexico), South America (Venezuela, Peru, Argentina, Chile, Colombia) and Europe (Switzerland, France, Spain).
These large-scale projects included working with U.S. imports/exports initiatives, requiring coordination with the U.S. Department of Agriculture (U.S.D.A), the U.S. Food & Drugs Administration (U.S.F.D.A.) and the U.S. Customs regulations (U.S. Customs). LB.S. was given the privilege by Nestlé S.A. (Switzerland) to be responsible for the importation, distribution and project management in the of U.S. of the Le Parfait® pâtés and THOMY® mayonnaises in tubes.
Always in quest to improve business management, he graduated with a Master in Business Administration (M.B.A. with honors) in International Business and Finance from the Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio, Texas. Leveraging this advanced academic knowledge, he combined it with practical experience to provide private investors with real estate development services and financing management.
After living several decades in the United States of America, Edouard returned to his native Switzerland, setting up residency in Geneva. Ever conscious of providing top-quality project management administration services to his global clients, he became a member of the U.S. Project Management Institute (PMI), as well as an active volunteer with the Suisse Romande PMI chapter (French speaking canton). He studied the PMBOK®. the "bible of project management," quickly scheduled the exam and acquired the PMP® PMI gold-standard Project Management Professional certification. In addition, he became certified in ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure). A few years later, he took the PMI-ACP® exam and became an Agile Certified Professional.
Over the last 10 years, a number of pharmaceutical, medical technology, supply chain, businesses and media/communication enterprises benefitted from the management/organizational talents of Edouard Musy. Long and short-term project management initiatives included:
